Hot Dog, Riggin’s is one! We had a hot dog bar!

A year ago if you told one of my friends that I would have a dog, they would most likely start laughing! You see, I grew up scared of dogs and would ring the doorbell when I was babysitting just hoping that I wouldn’t hear a dog bark. A year ago my husband and I drove to Raleigh to “just look” at puppies and I fell in love with this adorable golden retriever puppy who we named Riggins. After having Riggins for this past year, I can’t imagine my life without him, and I think that I have turned into that person who is obsessed with their dog…hahaha! So with that being said, I decided to have a little birthday party for him (which was more of an excuse to have a BBQ with our friends)! Here are some pictures from our fun afternoon!

The Renissance Hotel

On Thursday I was able to attend a wonderful event at The Renissance Hotel in SouthPark. They were showcasing their new renovations which are fabulous! The service, food, music, and atmosphere was amazing and it was a really fun evening! Connie Duglin Linen

I spotted the most AMAZING linen ever at the Ronald McDonald Fashion Show back in April and from that point on the search was on to find it! With some inside info from the fabulous Melissa Lamkin, I was introduced to Jodi at Connie Duglin Linens. I had the best time chatting with Jodi and browsing all of the wonderful linens that they have to offer! This Sunday I was a part of the Charlotte Wedding Connection Bridal Show. It was great meeting lots of wonderful brides and I look forward to beginning to work with some of them! I did a mock table in my booth and it couldn’t have been done with out the talents of some of the wonderful vendors in Charlotte. So I thought that I would spotlight a different vendor each day who helped to make my table sparkle!
I used Nectar for my floral arrangement. Karisa is super talented and sweet and I really enjoyed meeting her through this process. Her adorable floral shop is located on N Davidson and her arrangements and ideas are awesome! I look forward to using her in the future!

The Mint Museum Uptown!

Last night I had the privilege of getting a sneak peak of the AMAZING new Mint Museum Uptown, and when I say AMAZING I mean AMAZING space!! The various options that The Mint Museum offers for an event are so neat and beautiful all at the same time. We were fortunate to be in The Mattye and Marc Silverman Grand Room and Trustees Terrace that was beautifully uplighted and had some very trendy lounge areas, while chatting and tasting delicious foods from some of the wonderful caterers that we have here in Charlotte. The opportunities are endless for what you can do there and I am so excited to have such a wonderful new venue in the Uptown area. Be sure to check it out as it opens to the public this weekend!

I can’t believe my little buddy Landon is six months old today! Congrats Amy and Chris, he has been so much fun and we have enjoyed watching him grow up! We can’t wait for all of the memories!!!
